WD2: GitaBayu's Competitor Websites With Analysis

As for my Web Design 2 Final Project, I've been told to redesign the website of Gita Bayu.


This place is just a short distance from the city of Kuala Lumpur, it is located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. It offers a mix of individual and cluster bungalows, low-rise apartments and villas, a fully functioning clubhouse at the heart and various other leisure facilities.

Basically, I've been asked to do some analysis regarding some of its competitor's websites.

1. DAMAI BEACH RESORT

- High quality images used.

- Overall website bring use the resort feel, relaxing and comforting.

- Every Promotion being categorized accordingly, easy to read and understand.

- Hierarchy been used wisely.

- Nice home page which able to bring out the overall feeling.

- Navigation bar looks nice and cool but overall typography not consistent.

- Body text way tough to read due to the background.

- Overall website looks to plain and boring.

- Nice photos provided.

- Too much text, viewers will not be interested to read about it.

- Navigation bar looks too simple and boring too.

- Informative websites, especially language options, there are a lot of choices.
- Relaxing and Attractive images been used in every pages.
- Overall website looks simple yet gorgeous.
- Navigation bars can be more interesting.

WD2: Beautiful Websites With Analysis

So here I'm, getting ready to fight for a new semester. Oh well, a short semester but I'm sure everything gonna be in a rush.

I've been told to do analysis regarding 4 beautiful websites again, (did it last semester too) but of course there are bunch of beautiful websites all over the world. So will never find it boring or enough to view/understand them.

- Creative ideas, users can listen to the music while solving the puzzles. This will actually caught viewers' heart to further explore the website.

- The typography used blend well with the theme, easy to read.

- Clear information/guides given for viewers to start the game.

- Hierarchy has been done nicely, especially the contrast between header and body text.
